Teens Busted For Trashing Trumbull Office Building

Nine Trumbull teens ranging in age from 14 to 16, have been arrested for breaking into an office building and trashing the inside and its contents.

Police said the break-in and vandalism occurred at a vacant building, at 965 White Plains Road, Trumbull, over a weekend in August 2017.

The youths, all males, were charged with various charges including burglary, criminal mischief, and criminal trespass and released to their parents.

“The incident was reported to Trumbull police after the property manager for the building discovered the break-in on the morning of August 7,” said Lt. Keith Golding in a release.

A check inside found major damage done to several offices and included discharging the fire extinguishers. smashing windows, kicking holes in the walls and assorted graffiti that was written throughout the building, he added.

The youths are scheduled to appear in Juvenile Court in February.
